Nowruz Celebration
We are pleased to announce that Kherad Persian School will be hosting its Nowruz celebration this year on Saturday, March 16, starting from the second period. The first period will run from 11:00 to 12:15, with classes commencing as usual. The official celebration will take place at 12:30 in the main hall on the ground floor of the school.
Attendance for students is mandatory as the Nowruz event is a key educational and cultural activity at our school. The program will feature Hajji Firuz, music, musical theatre performances, student dances and singing, a Nowruz bazaar, and serving with sweets and chocolates.
Admission is free.
Raffle tickets with various prizes will be available as in previous years. Feel free to invite friends and acquaintances whose children may enjoy participating in this festive occasion.
This year’s Nowruz bazaar will offer a range of items for the traditional Nowruz table, such as nuts, sweets, greens, Haft Sin table decorations, red fish, and more, all at reasonable prices.
Your warm and supportive presence at this ancient celebration is encouraged to help in still a love for this enduring national tradition in the younger generation, particularly those growing up away from their homeland.
