The Objective of School

The objectives of Kherad Persian School are to inspire and enhance students’ proficiency in four key areas: Reading, Speaking, Listening, and Writing in Farsi. Additionally, the school aims to deepen students’ connection with their cultural heritage through celebratory events and ceremonies.

Our Teachers

Apart from possessing expertise and ample experience in teaching Persian, a passion for working with children and adolescents, as well as creativity in imparting educational concepts, are key criteria for selecting teachers.
The education group is dedicated to selecting educational resources, particularly textbooks, and aims to offer students diverse educational materials for Persian lessons.
All staff members undergo DBS/CRB checks.

Kherad Persian School (IMTS) operates as a non-profit organization staffed by volunteers.

Our Students

Our Students

Due to English being the students’ primary language, mastering Persian poses a growing challenge. Kherad School has endeavored to create an engaging environment by using modern educational approaches, considering students’ individual traits (such as age and familiarity with Persian). Furthermore, the school has aimed to foster collaborative work among students, promoting close communication during class and break times.

Academic Calendar

Academic Calendar

At Kherad Persian School, the academic calendar aligns with the educational calendar in England. This includes coordinating half-term and end-of-semester holidays with mainstream schools. Every semester concludes with an exam period.

Similar to schools in England, the academic year at the Persian school begins in September and comprises three semesters—autumn, spring, and summer. Tuition fees are due at the start of each semester and can be paid via check, cash, or the school’s bank account.

Our Books

Our Books

Each student is required to have one book per academic year, obtainable for purchase through the school at a price ranging from £25 to £35, depending on the level.

Parents Evenings

Regular parent-teacher meetings are scheduled before each semester’s exams, providing an opportunity to discuss the students’ academic progress. IMTS earnestly requests parents to attend these meetings at the specified time and date.

Break Period

Break Period

From 12:15 to 12:45, students have a break. It is advisable for students to bring a nutritious snack and drink for this time. The school aims to offer entertainment and sports equipment during this break, with full supervision by school staff. The school takes responsibility for ensuring the safety and well-being of the students during this time.

In addition, if the weather is favorable, following having their snack, the students will be guided to the school yard for playtime.

Conversely, if the weather is unfavorable, the students will enjoy indoor activities in the hall.
Furthermore, the school is insured during its operational hours.

Festivals and Celebrations
